The reason and the purpose of the meeting

  • Participation at the conference (2nd dissemination event)
  • Overview of the work packages (evaluation and further tasks)
  • Planning the final phase of the project
  • Preparation for the Final Report

Main results of the meeting

  1. The VELVITT Conference was held at Technological Educational Institute of Crete. The first part of the conference mainly served as a dissemination of the project results for the time being, while the second half contained papers giving a wider background and special aspects of the topic. The entire conference was simultaneously video-transmitted, via FONTYS in the Netherlands, to all the participating higher education institutions in England, Finland, Hungary, Portugal and TEI branches in Crete.
  2. As a result of the overview and evaluation of the work packages, task division among partners for the final period of the project was completed. The conference proceedings will be edited by Dunaujvaros Polytechnic. The publication of training materials to be edited by Budapest Polytechnic will include the training materials on VLEs and the relevant methodological issues. The Tampere Polytechnic will also contribute with further aspects to the study that will be prepared on "learning strategies" by the Dunaujvaros team. New national report representing the situation at the end of the project will also be prepared by each participating country.
