BUDAPEST POLYTECHNIC - BUDAPESTI MŰSZAKI FŐISKOLA

Bánki Donát Faculty of Budapest Polytechnic is one of the oldest engineering schools in Hungary. Due to the technological challenges beyond the traditional vocational teacher training courses, B Eng and B Ed degree courses in Information Technology were introduced by the Institute for Engineering Education about nine years ago. The Institute for Engineering Education has extensive experience in international co-operation.
The management role of the Polytechnic will be to co-ordinate the project and organise the dissemination of project results. As a member of the project consortium, the Polytechnic will participate in designing and implementing staff development programmes for the use of virtual learning environments in vocational teacher training. The Polytechnic will also prepare and implement an electronic learning strategy, contribute to building electronic programme delivery mechanisms with project partner institutions.
