Curriculum development - Vocational ITT via VLEs

  • Aims:
    • to examine commonality in the vocational teacher education curricula of the participating countries
    • to identify modules of the existing curriculum suitable for adaptation for electronic delivery
    • to determine opportunities for creation of new modules which use/teach the use of VLEs
    • to develop a "European collaboration" module
  • Duration:
    1 September 2003 - 31 October 2004
  • Working methods and techniques:
Meetings and workshops will promote discussions on harmonising curriculum development. The partners directly involved in vocational teacher education (P1,P2,P4,P7,P8) will play a leading role in the curriculum development activities. A division of work is necessary and the participants will work in details on those programmes to which they can contribute most. Common guidelines will be possible since a harmonised conception of the modules is to be achieved by the 3rd month of this package. A constant dialogue will take place using the e-mail distribution list. P3,P5 and P6 will provide independent criticism and advice from the perspective of practitioners in other related fields.
  • Dissemination forms:
